\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOur staff is committed to going above and beyond to be sure all our students are always secure. Our main entrance can only be accessed by imputing a distinct code that is unique for each parent. All guests are required to check in at the front office where their visit will be confirmed, and their ID checked. All our teachers are required to obtain a satisfactory fingerprint background check and must complete the Bright From the Start health and safety training. All our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified and are familiar with our detailed emergency plan and playground safety plan.<\/span>\n\nDahlonega Country Day has recently taken the extra step, beyond that required by the State, in recognizing and preventing sexual abuse. Darkness to Lights\u2019 Stewards of Children training uses real people with real stories in order to show the true implications of sexual abuse and to better educate our teachers in recognizing the signs. All employees are required to complete this training.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All our teachers and staff go through extensive training on health and safety practices. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have further developed our practices and procedures in order to set a new standard in childcare. We go above and beyond the state-mandated rules and guidelines. We will continue to work closely with our expert medical advisors and follow CDC guidelines on protocols for licensed childcare providers. We installed UV lights in all our AC units to help kill COVID-19 and other viruses. We purchased electrostatic sprayers for each building that we utilize daily to disinfect.
