It is our goal at Dahlonega Country Day to establish a strong foundation for your child\u2019s educational development. Our curriculum is bias free and developmentally based, focusing on the individual child\u2019s social, emotional and intellectual needs. Our professional staff encourages exploration and growth in a well-equipped environment that is stimulating, safe, consistent and nurturing. We strive to enhance each child\u2019s natural curiosity and love of learning. Our school provides opportunities for each child to master tasks that are appropriate to his or her individual level of development. Our teachers develop their lesson plans by implementing the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) that were created as a framework for learning for Georgia\u2019s children ages birth to five. Each age group has a unique set of standards that are a continuum of skills, behaviors, and concepts that children develop throughout this time of life.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We know that a child\u2019s interests can lead to exploration, discovery and understanding of the world. Our learning approach integrates science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) throughout the day to make learning fun. We have our very own STEAM lab that our students can utilize to enhance their experience at Dahlonega Country Day.<\/span><\/p>

Dahlonega Country Day is equipped with THREE Promethean ActivPanel boards located in each of our Georgia Pre-K classes. All of our children at Dahlonega Country Day have access to this technology and enjoy actively participating in educational lessons daily.<\/span><\/p>
